Spend the day soaking up the sun at Lakeside Park Beach. Pack an umbrella and some towels and set off for a day of relaxation. However, if you’re looking to have an active day at the beach, there are loads of things to do. Walk the boardwalk out to the pier and take in the views, grab some friends and start a game at one of the volleyball courts, or take a scenic detour along one of the walking trails.
Visit The Lakeside Park Carousel
First arriving to Port Dalhousie in 1921, The Lakeside Park Carousel has become an icon in the Niagara Region. Restored and maintained over the years, the hand-crafted animals have become friendly, familiar faces. For only five cents the kids can have some fun and also experience a piece of Port Dalhousie history at the same time.
Dine on The Pier

After dinner, stop by Old Port Dairy Bar for dessert. Its small-town charm makes it a classic spot to pick up some sweet treats.
